Secretary desk/Bureau, completely upcycled with great care, painted in a rich Blue finish.
Selected items such as the drawers and lid have been carefully stained in their original oak colour to highlight the natural wood grain.
The practical writing shelf has been fitted with luxurious new Gold leather, adding both elegance and comfort.
The internal storage unit has been painted using a beautiful Mermaids Tail (Turquoise) shade that perfectly complements the Blue exterior.
Gold highlights have been thoughtfully applied to enhance the overall design and bring warmth to the piece.
The front of the lid features delicate Gold transfers for an extra touch of sophistication.
Please note that the unit is not lockable; the key provided is purely decorative.
This really is a heavy, solid Oak unit built to last, with many more decades of use ahead.
A large, solid vintage glass inkwell is included with the desk.
The existing hardware, including the automatic action shelf supports, has been carefully retained to preserve the desk’s original charm and functionality.
Automatic shelf support arms are only fitted on good quality units, others have to be pulled out manually.

The drawers and side details feature carefully refaced Rosewood veneer, adding a rich, elegant touch to the piece.
This unit has been meticulously upcycled to blend modern contemporary appeal with its original heritage character.
New handles have been thoughtfully fitted to the drawers, and all other hardware has been carefully cleaned to restore their shine.
To protect and enhance the finish, the entire piece has been sealed with a matt topcoat on the painted surfaces and a satin varnish on the genuine wood veneer, ensuring long-lasting durability and timeless style.
